To change Sims’ names, simply choose “Change Name…” option on the city hall. Also, save your game before, just in case. Note that you should only be able to do this if the Sim has been aged to a child though, babies not being available in CAS. Is there a way to edit? Shift + Click on your Sim and click Edit in CAS.
